AGAV was founded in 1964 with both head office and production activities located in Villasanta. AGAV is one of the leading companies in Italy in the production of elastic yarns via the spinning process.

Increased demand led to the opening of a new production of covered elastic yarns with thirty new spinning machines.
Warping activities are carried out at Villasanta.

AGAV can therefore offer a complete range of services to its clientele, both for spooled and warped products.

AGAV is also able to manufacture products on specific client instructions and based on the client's needs, thanks to its development and research laboratory.
The values that allowed the company to grow include a particular attention to the client's needs, operational flexibility, and a personalised service which AGAV is able to give developing its products in collaboration with the client.
